Am just curious to know.. If Nokia 6680 the same model as 6682 but with 2 cameras, available through some vendors will also be having similar problems for call log etc.??

Given 6682 is out from cingular for a while.. I was thinking to get 6680 and get it running.

Any one with hands on with 6680.. please provide some info..

Thanks,

6680 is for Europe, Euorpean band waves.
I've heard of some people using the 6681 with T-Mobile. But it doesn't have the 850 band which would then limit your reception on Cingular to just the 1900 band.

Here is a snipit from a website about band waves;

Do you need both frequencies in the US?

This really depends on the areas in which you use your cell phone. If you're in a major metropolitan area, you probably won't need the 850 MHz band, but if you travel to secondary areas regularly, you will find the extra coverage of the 850 MHz band to be valuable.

I've heard a lot of bad about T-Mobile in regards to reception. I wouldn't use them. But that's just me.

Oh, and in regrads to any issues with the 6680 or 81, I'm not sure. The 6680 has been out longer so one might think less issues. But that is not an option for you. The 6681 came out next, I believe. Then the 6682. My belief is that they are all very similar with the exception that the 6680 is a true G3 phone with the extra camera on the front for video conferencing.

I'd wait till you could get your hands on a 6682.
