Anybody bought VoiceSignal?

After the 5 day free trial period I was prompted with "Buy full license, Price USD 14.99" when trying to open VoiceSignal. I have tried repeated to purchase it, but each time I get "Unable to display page" and eventually a note that my account was not charged. Unfortunately it WAS charged...five different times! I eventually exceeded the maximum direct bill allowed of $80.

Has anybody figured out how to purchase the full license for VoiceSignal? The Cingular customer service people are useless!

I never even got to try the 7 day trial version ☹️ because I had the mis pleasure of accidentally deleting it. However, I tried to purchase Hard Rock Casino and got the same error you got and I was charged for it each time. Cingular credited me back each time but that didn't help solve the problem.

I tried to order the Persia Sands of Time game and was getting the same errors. I called Cingular and they said that there was a "data network" outage late last week. I don't know if they ever got it resolved or not. I just gave up on trying to purchase anything directly on the phone.

I received an email today from Voice Signal and they stated that Cingular/Nokia are about to open the purchase of it by next Wednesday. There apparently is some type of bug that needs to be fixed before it is released to the public. My trial is about to run out time as well.

Let's hope we can purchase it soon.

I'm not sure how much I liked it. I was getting quite errors, not recognizing my commands. So I let it expire and am using the standard phone voice dial and commands. If I am not mistaken, seems to be more voice commands than on the 6620.

I tried to buy it but it wouldn't go through. I work at Boeing (a bunch of engineering geeks) and after much debate, it was decided that it was outdated. I went into voicesignal and where it said purchase, I went to options and there was link to upgrade. I did so and the software was downloaded sucessfully. It's actually pretty cool. It goes through your contacts and then when I press the voice button, a female voice says "say a command". I'll say "call Susan"..it goes right to my wife's number. It works like this for text messaging, looking up folders and applications. You do NO voice training, somehow it just knows....

I agree...I think that VoiceSignal is pretty nice. My understanding is that to use the mfg voice dialing, you have to record tags for each contact. Is that right? I have hundreds of contacts...I am not going to do that.

Were you able to purchase it after doing the update? When I selected update from the VioceSignal options menu, it just updated LM Pro (License Manager Pro) to version 5.10.00. I am nervous about trying to purchase VoiceSignal again because Cingy keeps charging me for every attempt. Is there another way to get the license code for VoiceSignal besides ordering it on the phone?

Thanks gpain,

I finally was able to purchase it too. This time it asked me for a credit card, instead of direct billing. I guess the update or Cingy fixed the problem.

Does anybody know if VoiceSignal can be activated from the button on a bluetooth headset? Will it only work with certain headsets?

I don't believe you can, yet. However, I let mine expire and was asked to purchase it full version. I did, it downloaded and installed successfully and it works flawlessly.

The voice commands are understood even if you speak on the first name of the contact. It also work through my Jabra 250v headset and again, flawlessly.

For $14.95 (have to use a credit card), it's easily worth the money.

By the way, I also purchased another, Voice Dial Pro, from Handango, but could never receive the license to install the full version. I used the trial version but found it buggy and nowhere as good as Voice Signal.

If you call Voice Signal, they will tell you that when the full version bug between Nokia and Cingular is fixed, they will not...
