Jabra Bluetooth headset
Can someonhelp me!! I am currently using a jabra 250 bluetooth headset. When I press the talk button on the jabra, it doesn't do anything. I know that when I have my 6600, everytime I pushed the talk button on the jabra, it would make a noise and the screen would say speak now. But with the 6682, it doens't do that. It however, does work with the last number dialed feature. If you hold the jabra for a couple of seconds, and let go, it will redial the last number. But it won't allow me to do the voice dialing feature. Help!!

do you still have VoiceSignal running (trail not up yet). If my memory serves me correct, I could not voice dial from the headset with VS installed. I let the trail run out and it asked me if I wanted to restore mfg. voice dial. I said yes and everything worked fine as it used to including bt voice dial. If you don't want to wait for the trial to run out, you could remove VoiceSignal from the aps Manager in tools.

I did that with my other 6682. I let the trial run out and restored mfg. It still didn't work. But the redial worked. I will try again this time and remove the program completely. Do you know what the voice signal is for anyways?? Didn't get a chance to play with it yet.

More voice commands with VS. For instance, you can say "send text to John Smith" and it opens the text message window with it already addressed to John Smith. But I was finding it did not recognize my commands a lot of times or open an app that was other than what I said. One nice thing, you don't need to assign voice tags, it just gets it from your contacts list with voice recognition. Also, speaks to you. If it worked better I might have bought it. But seems slower too, repeating your commands, although there is an option to turn that off, I believe.

I noticed that too. Whenever I say a name, it repeats a totally different name. Most of the time the name sounds nothing like what I said. It was very frustrating. Waste of money to buy if you ask me.
