In some ways I agree. I feel that once they get the software updated it will be a wonderful phone. I get service in areas that I have never been able to get with any other phone. I am going to stick with it.

I guess I am lucky, with my 6620 I always have great reception but I live in a big city and dont ever travel to rural areas...I am hoping TMOB will get the Nokia 6681 within the next few months after cingular releases their stranglehold on this phone.

mrdeth,

I'm don't know if i would agree with that. Interms of user experience the Cingular branded 6682 are a bit of a let down as there are some 'issues' that need to be resolved (call logs being deleted; sim card copying contact repeatedly; etc) & the fact that it only seems to be apparent on Cingular branded 6682. metuh,

The anti-virus software is only a 30day trial. Its from F-secure.

Voice Signal is a company that has software that is on the 6682 also only for a trial period (30days i believe). I haven't used it, so i can't totally comment, but from what i've read its supposed to have better voice recognition that the built in Nokia voice software & i think i read it will even do voice to txt message (which would be very cool). I haven't used it as i don't want to find out how cool it is, & then want to buy it.

best regards,
