Removing the camera possible?

I would like this phone, but I am not able to carry a camera at work. Would it be possible to remove the camera from this phone? Either physically remove it (and not allow dust in) or unplug it permanently.

Do you work at Area 51?

Probably not an easy modification. The phone does have a cover over the camera. It makes it not overtly obvious there is even a camera in the phone.

Actually, my Mom works at a law firm and they are not allowed to bring in Mobile phones with a camera into the courts.

Not quite area 51, but government research. This restriction is fairly common for all government contract work. I have read posts of many others with similar issues. My company alone has 120,000 people who can't bring cameras to work.

I did notice the cover. I was also thinking of super gluing it shut. It would solve the problem some people commented on about the cover opening up randomly.

I would say wedge something in the bottom of it instead of the super glue, that way you could use the wonderful camera when you are on personal time.
