Google Local install problem
Can't seem to install google local:

Google doesn't allow you to download the installer to the computer, and it runs out of memory when I try to install it from the cingular browser or opera. Did anyone manage to get it installed?

hmm..i had them send me a text to the link and downloaded to phone and installed without a problem.

Tried it again, this time installing to the phone memory instead of the memory card and it worked.
Prefer to have it on the card, but, whatever.

hey dthree can u check something for me?? what does your icon to open google local look like..? mine says google local on bottom and a tiny "G" on the upper left hand corner.

Wouldn't install on either for me the first day it launched. like a week later it works like a charm from the MMC after I tried to reinstall.
