Nokia 6682 / 6681
Pearl white 6682 from letstalk.com is unlocked..
I tried a co-workers T-Mobile SIM card in the phone i received from letstalk.com and it worked just fine. So now i'm really not sure if i want to return the phone for the newer firmware one that is locked (cingular)...??? Does anyone out there with a bit more expertise on these types of things have any suggestions? Should i go for the newer firmware or just stick with what i have since it is working just fine?? Thanks!!

if that is true that would be awesome...i would be travelling extensively in asia in the next month or so and i can then just buy a local sim card... 😲 🙂 😁 😉

Nope, i have not had one problem since i got the phone. I finally decided I will keep this one!! No reason to trade in a perfectly good phone that is unlocked!! I look forward to hearing back if they work overseas!!

ok i just checked my phone this morning and found the same result as Argon did...stuck a coworker's SIM card in and it works!!! 😳 😁 😲
so its unlocked, it has old firmware but like we said NO log or copy contacts problem...
here is a link to help get that price down further by $25...just want to give back to all you good folks on this forum...for a $124 unlocked phone? can't beat that!!! 🙂 🙂

I dont know if they are still selling the white unlocked phones for that price. There is a post somewhere here that a silver cingular branded version was received by someone from letstalk.com not too long ago. Just a heads up...

I ordered my 6288 on 12/29 and just received it today. It has the new firmware, is silver and is locked to cingular.
