Nokia 6682 / 6681
Call History wipe out
I have been using Nokia 6682 for over 2 months and absolutely love...the only problem I have had is that every time I power off the phone, it clears out my call history.
I called the Warranty Exchange program and received my replacement handset yesterday but its doing the same thing.
The warranty exchange people have no idea why it does that and offered a different handset but I'd rather keep this than the phones they offered in exchange.
Does it happen on all phones? Is there a fix? Please let me know at dharit@ureach.com

Start by telling us, is you phone cingular branded or not....... white or silver in color, where did you get it?
Do the following:
From the standby screen, press *#0000# and report what is displayed on the screen....
READ THIS FORUM......look for "call log" issues, "FIRMWARE".....etc.....the answers are on here.....

try getting the 3G sim from your local store...should fix your problem.
there is a new firmware out also, might be able to send phone to nokia for upgrade...
