Stereo Bluetooth Headphones....

ScottMod

Has anyone tried using the new Stereo Bluetooth headphones with this phone? I believe Logitech and some other companies have some out right now, I was just wondering about the quality of the sound and if the phone will support them.

Thanks in advance,
~Scott

I wanted some decent Bluetooth headphones but in my searching found the stereo headphones have A2DP but the 8862 does not. So unless there is a FW upgrade or a 3rd party program, I don't think the stereo bluetooth will work.

There was a Symbian 60 MP3 player called MSIBule (I think) that could make the 6680 work with SOME stereo bluetooth headphones. Never tried it though.

I have tried the Moto HT820 with the 6682 and MSi BluePlayer and could not get the phone to play music through the headset. Just like my HS850, I could listen to mp3 music, but not full quality stereo.

I did try the same headset with my iPaq 6515 and everthing worked smoothly, could even control the Media Player from the headset.

The n80 is supposed to have th A2DP profile necessary.

Can't wait.

The MSI blueplayer only seems to work with itech headphones and vice-versa. I picked up a itech S38 clip off ebay, which lets you listen to MP3s in full stereo with bluetooth. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack so I can use headphones of my choice. Although I have a few reservations with the S38 I'm glad I bought it.

The S38 doesn't have AVRCP(playback control) capability but I think another version from itech does.

Brian: So are you able to listen to quality stereo music and switch to incoming calls smoothly? If so that would be awesome.

Is the mic in the clip?

The clip doesn't have a mic on it.

According to the instructions you will hear a buzz when a call comes in and be able to take the call by pressing a button on the clip. I generally ignore calls when I'm jammin so I haven't tried it yet.

I'm guessing it operates similar to the stereo set included with the phone, ie you hear through the headset and talk using the mic in the phone.
