Nokia 6682 / 6681
How/Where do I check Firmware ver ?
If anyone can let me know how to check Firmware ver.
I sent away for a replacement phone and received it today, call logs now seem to retain after I restart my phone. However, I still get asked if I want to copy Sim to Contacts? or whatever it says.
Anyone else got an Idea if the replacement phones they are sending out are better then what I already had?
Thanks, Bob

$20. any free programs like this?
Call History wipe out
I called the Warranty Exchange program and received my replacement handset yesterday but its doing the same thing.
The warranty exchange people have no idea why it does that and offered a different handset but I'd rather keep this than the phones they offered in exchange.
Does it happen on all phones? Is there a fix? Please let me know at dharit@ureach.com
bluetooth problem with new car
I've paired my 6682 with my car and everything is going great, but whenever I place a call using the car and when the other party picks up the bluetooth connection would drop and transfer me back to the phone. Just to be clear, I don't loose the call...only the the bluetooth connection drops. I've also paired my car with a Moto Razr and it works perfectly!
Could this be a firmware issue? I'm debating if I should do a warranty exchange or not. If I do than Cingular will probably send my a LOCKED phone b...

Letstalk migration issues?
Are there any other issues with getting this phone and service from letstalk or amazon?
Thanks.

Catch #2.... They don't have the phones in stock just yet. It states "in stock soon."
Has anyone purchased the 6682 from Amazon?? Any problems? Is it unlocked like letstalk? If not, does it have the new firmware??

help! - i want to keep my old number - how??
i ordered my 6682 and should get it tomorrow.
i signed on for a new 2 year deal with cingular, and they will be giving me a new number.
currently, i still have my old AT+T contract. i didn't "upgrade", because otherwise I wouldn't have got the 6682 for $149, it would have been $249, since "migration" doesn't classify you as a new cingular user.
i want to keep my old phone number from my AT+T account, which is still active.
How can I do this???
Do I call Cingular, or go into the store? Basically, I want to keep my old number but transfer it to the new contract and new SIM in the 6682 and then cancel the old AT+T contract.
Thanks in advance fo...

I know it's a moto, but have you seen this phone?
so really... the $149 6682 on letstalk.com is WITH the new firmware??

Should I even bother with Firmware update??
More than one voice tag per contact?
The one thing I'm trying to figure out is whether I can create multiple voice tags associated with the same contact... you know, if you have one person with multiple numbers, and you want to be able to say "Mark home," "Mark mobile," and "Mark work" and have the phone call Mark at each of those locations.
Am I doomed to just having to create a separate contact for each of those?
New firmware version 6682 from LetsTalk.com?
Has anyone out there actually received a 6682 from letstalk.com with the new firmware?
Letstalk is selling the 6682 for $149, but no one there can confirm that the phone contains firmware version 4.6.2. (The only other data point is argon345's post on Dec 20th where he had just received a 6682 from letstalk with the old firmware.)
Thanks!
