can I use mp3s as ringtones that I put on my SD Card? Also can I use photos as wall paper that I put on the SD Card from my computer? I'm just seeing if it's worth it to purchase a mini SD.

was just wondering if anybody has tried to use the Bluetooth Style-i for this phone from LG. it looks really cool and I'm thinking about purchasing it if i can get some peeps to tell me how wonderful it is!!

I just purchased this phone and am waiting for it to come to me via Fed Ex. I was wondering how long I should charge it before using it? I've heard so many different numbers that I just want to safe.

I see the price of the V (9800) has gone down from 419.99 to 369.99.. Do you think the price will lower more anytime soon?

On July 8th I'm planning on buying the 9800. I am also definitely planning on buying a BT headset for it. The Motorola HT 500 headset, can it do call waiting if you on a call and you get another incoming call? Can you switch between the 2 calls? If not then what headset will do this? THanks. I can't wait to get my new 9800. Only about 1 month left thankfully and counting.

I just left Verizon for CING - and got the Nokia 9300 - pretty nice phone - except for music. I KNOW that the V can do music really good - what I'm wondering is whether or not there is any way to check my comcast.net POP3 e-mail?

i've been having a weird problem with my phone the top buttons for messages the clr button and the numbers 1,4,7,* dont work when i click them. Then a couple of minuntes later they will start to work and then they stop working again just wondering if that is a common problem with the phone i have version 1

Today was my 9800's debut at school and he caused quite a ruckus. I showed all my friends and I could tell some were jealous because they were saying how their phone is so much better
(rokr, come on now), others were just wanted it. Lots of people were like dang your phone is so big and ugly, then I just acted like I didn't hear them and opened my phone and took a picture or got on the internet and was like dang look he has a new myspace picture. After that their opinions totally changed. After I showed everyone the graphics on need for speed 2 and how I can use e-mail they were impressed. I am most definitely satisfied with my 9800, and can't wait to see the looks on peoples faces when I get a mini SD and have music and video. 😁

I know that I will get all kind sof responses to this. 2 months ago, I was deciding between the 8100 and the 9800 and decided on the 8100. While it is a really nice phone, if I had a way of getting the 9800, I would. No, I can't afford to buy it retail. I will just have to be happy with the 8100.

I currently have the Motorola V710 and plan to purchase "The V" by the end of the month. (Hoping the price will go down some more before I have to turn in my V710)
I would like to know if anyone has any experience with both phones and can tell me how the camera's picture quality compares to that of the V710.
Also, I am pretty happy with the reception I get with my current phone. Is the reception on "The V" any better or worse from your experiences?
I do realize that this phone is no Treo 700 but how well does this phone work for web browsing?

Everytime I try to rewind a clip back to see something again, the clip locks up and I cannot do anything. I try to take it out of pause but it does nothing and I end up having to clear out of the clip all together and start over. Why is that? I figure it would have to buffer but it doesnt start playing again.

I just read that in one of the reviews posted here. I was thinking since it has V-Cast, it should be but I am certainly no expert?

Is it true I am asking too many questions? 😲

Hi All. Right now I use my VX-6000 to get my laptop on the Internet via the Mobile Office Kit cable and NationalAccess for just MOU. This is great when travelling.

I understand I won't get EVDO speeds, but can I still do the National Access laptop thing if I upgrade to the 9800, or will I lose that capability?

I'm having a little trouble with this. I'm assuming many of the photos I transferred to my SD card are too large and that is why I can't view them on my phone. What is the easiest way to format the photos so they will be viewable. I am transferring them to the SD card straight from my PC, using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Thanks.
