Can I download photo's from my a840 to my laptop with out buying software?

I would like to know if I can use a data cable alone to transfer pictures from my A840 to my laptop. I currently have hp photo software and Microsoft photo software on my laptop.

I'd like to know,too!The Sprint store people said you can.I built my rackmount PC for audio multi-tracking,and it has everything but bluetooth(it will soon)If you can,I'll find a way! LOL Or the phone goes back.Good luck....post if you find a solution,please!

yes, you can. if you'd really like to, use bitpim [go to bitpim.org] and a usb cable. connect your phone as the pm-a740, and have bitpim extract your wallpapers. this should get you all of the pictures you have taken on your phone.
