Theme Problem
KDS90
Dec 11, 2005, 4:26 PM
Weird thing happened about 2 nights ago. I opened my phone and my wallpaper was gone. It was just blue. Then I went to the menu, and all the borders and colors were gone. I rebooted it, but I still had a problem. I turned it off and charged it, and when I turned it back on the next morning, it was back to normal. Then this morning, it happened again. Does anyone else have this problem?

I don't, but a guy at my local Cingular store saw that I had the phone, asked how I liked the phone, and asked me if I've been having the problem YOU are having.
So, I haven't had the problem, but apparently some other people are for him to ask about it.

I believe this has something to do with a memory leak I mentioned in another thread. If you know anything about these devices, when you "power it off", it doesn't completely shut off at first. It takes a little while to completely power off. If you see something like this happen, I'd recommend turning it off, then removing the battery for about 10 seconds, then putting it back together.
BTW, I've been trying to report this and other bugs to Cingular and Sony Ericsson the past 2 days. The more people report these problems, the better the chances of them being fixed.

This seems to work. After reinstalling the battery, go back to the theme settings and set it to your desired theme. This worked for my phone when it had this problem the other day.
