HTC 8125 / 8100 / MDA (USA) / K-JAM / P4300 (Wizard)
Ok, So I have read all of the Wi-Fi forums......But
My router is currently set to allow anyone to connect to it, no passkeys, no encryption.... still---- cant get an IP.
Please help
Not only have I been through the forums, but I've spent hours on the phone both with Cingular tech support and data guru's... As well as with HTC device support.....
I still get the
"Unable to obtain a server-assigned IP address. Try again later or enter an IP address in Network settings." error when I try to connect to my wireless network.
I have my router set up to allow anybody to connect, no encryption, nothin.
I have unchecked the box in the PPC settings for the proxy, per both the forums and HTC support....
Please somebody help me.... I am so desperate.
If so, change it to allow non-G clients OR change the registry to allow your phone to connect to wireless G networks.
Also, make sure your DHCP server is set up to allow enough IP addresses to accomodate the phone and all of your other wireless devices.
