PHONE AS MODEM
Anyone know how to use the phone as modem feature w/o having to pay the additional $40/mo ??? It really bugs me that power vision gets you EVDO speeds but then they want more $$$ to use what you are already getting (albeit in much larger chunks...)

I too was not happy that my $20 Power Vision account would not allow me to use the Fusic as a modem.
In the end, I payed the $39.99 per month to get the phone as modem option.
However, there is a piece of software called SnapDialer (http://www.futuredial.com/Products/snapdiale r/P_SD.aspx?gclid=CMmL2bHw1YUCFQZHCwodaQooLQ)
that may let you tether without paying the $39.99...right now the software does not support the LX550 (Fusic), but maybe in the future...

ya i was trying to connect with that last night after i downloaded the software from Sprint.com And everytime it was connecting it it was say connecting..... than Disconnecting... , couldnt figure out why until i just read this thread.
They really show charge a little less at least for the service, your already paying for power vision you know.
