LG Fusic / LX-550
high price of music phone??
Verizon has music phones for $70 (the RAZR V3m)
this is a good $110 more? for the ipod clickwheel thing on the front?
😳
1) Un-crippled BT (Including a2DP)
2) Full duplex speakerphone
3) External player controls
4) FM Modulator
5) Changeable faceplates
6) Unreal battery life for a CDMA phone
7) Not a trashy RAZR
😎 No crappy VZW UI!!
the list could go on for a while...
Let's look @ some comparable models from Verizon... oh wait, nothing.
There are less expensive options on a music phone from Sprint anyway. Samsung A920, Samsung Blade, Sanyo 7500. Do a little research next time before the post please. This one of the most expensive phones that Sprint offers right now.
-dont care about outside music controls
- faceplates?? what? who needs that
-if i can use it for a day and charge it at night its fine
-razr has a full spkrphne
-razrs are good quality (at least vzw. cingulars suck)
plus about the samsung a920, thats pretty close the LG VX8300 and Samsung SCH-a950 on verizon.
although i will agree with you on the Verizon operating system. its very stupid (on moto v325 they put ring lights options in ringer types submenu)
Never seen a car that supports A2DP, could be wrong there... 😕 And what is this "car adapter" you refer to? If it's an 1/8 inch stereo to 1/8 inch stereo male to male cable, you'd be right w/ the adapter the LG FUSIC comes with. But, what if there is no aux jack on my car stereo? That's not a very common feature. Sure, you could couple it from stereo RCA jacks, but then you're pulling out your car stereo, and then it's not interchangeable. Plus, most factory stereos don't have those!
-So it would be very convenient to have to open up your phone every time you want to change tracks? Doubt it...

Why cant you just keep your phone open then if you dont want to open and close it?
RAZRs are little more flimsy than an i560 but not so much that they are garbage! Compared to the Verizon UI, Motorolas is very easy to use...
And why in the world are we still on the RAZR? Bottome line, if you're considering buying a music phone and you want something CHEAP, you're gonna get a music phone that doesn't have a lot of features. MAYBE SOME PEOPLE STILL HAVE TAPE DECKS OUT THERE! That's fine you obviously need a cheap phone. So go buy that RAZR and car kit, that's what America's about right?
On the other hand if you want a feature packed phone at a great price get the Fusic. Nuf said! 😲

Why is this in the LG Fusic thread?
because of senor snobby who is getting attitude with pretty much anything that's said, regardless of the fact that he pretty much asked for the info he's getting.
yeah, the razr is a pos. i have a few friends that have it (on different networks) and i hear nothing but complaints from them ''can't wait 'til i can get a new phone!" one even asked to me to help him research other phones.
as far as i know, razr is also limited in the music files it supports as well as the removable sd card (btw that design sucks) it supports. it doesn't support mp4's, which are like mp3's only compressed so you can fit more. the cassette adapter is all well and good bu...

The FM transmitter works very well, and it is nice. Still, pugging it directly into your stereo is best. If you don't have a hardline, then the transmitter is cool.
One other important thing to consider is the size of the memory in the Razr, and whether it has a removable card. You will fill the card up with music really fast. The Fusic's stock 64Mb card is only about one album's worth and gets old in a hurry.
The Fusic has a removable card (that is only 64Mb), and you can buy up to 2Gb-sized cards.
My first consideration in a phone is reception, and I'll tell you, the Fusic is one of the best out there.
