LG CU500

How do I stop this phone from calling the last call I was on? It doesn't matter if it's an incoming or outgoing call...the phone dials the last call I was on within 5 minutes of hanging up.

😕 Ok.. I have read into this forum 6 or 7 pages about getting a ringtone on your phone and found the same question and a partial anwser to that q & a. I have spider pig on my computer, i sent it to my phone as am email, opened it, it works.... now how do I turn it into a/my ringtone?

Hey guys(and girls)... the whole top half of my phone got broken off the other day, and i hav to get a replacement. Could someone tell me the EXACT key combonation to copy your contacts from the phone to the sim card?

I was using my unit converter on my LG CU500 to convert fl oz to ml and quarts to liters and discovered that the phone is using British units and not American. Anyone have similar experiences on their CU500? Any suggestions on how to switch the phone to the American measurement units?

The cover over the outer display cracked. The LCD is fine, just the plastic piece cracked. It looks like it just pops off, but where could I get a replacement cover?

These phones that are music players, do they have headphone jacks. When you search on that, they don't come up. Thanks.

ok so i bought a Micro SD car from best buy today..and when i first put it in the phone it detected it and everything..and i transferred songs and everything..but now everything that i transferred is gone!..and the phone wont get detected by the computer!..help!!!

So I finally got my SanDisk 1gb memory card to work, meaning the phone will recognize it now, and I put some mp3's on my phone from my computer. Some of them it will play, and some of them it will not recognize and will not play. Anyone else having this problem? This phone is too good for this to happen. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Did you notice how many reviews are poorly written with irrelevant points and psycho rants from people expecting too much from a cell phone? I say to these people, PLEASE GET A LIFE. 😛

I use the calender function requently and would like to assign a key (maybe from hatswitch) to go directly to calender. Anyone know how to do this?

Ok is there a way to organize my music and ring tones? I have a 1gb sd card, and when I put my music in, they werent in order. I tried to sort them by name but it doesnt do it in music player, and I want to be able to make a Folder for Ringtones and Music or Rap, rock etc. Is there a way to create folders in the sd card and not the phone memory? but yea how come our ringtones start off low and then high. How do you change it to just full ring tone and just all loud. thanks

I just picked up a CU500. My father has the same phone. Now we would like to get a USB cable for syncing phonebook entries and new ring tones.

Having read through MANY threads I’m still pretty foggy on this stuff. Why can’t this be easier (like S/E phones!)? I have a few questions:

- Is there a reliable USB cable other than the OEM one (i.e. cheaper)?
- Is there any reliable software out there for syncing to the phone? Since I’m not interested in transferring mp3s, photos, etc, strictly speaking mass storage isn’t going to help with numbers and tones (well maybe tones, dunno).
- Do I have to have a microSD to sync with the CU500?

I simply can’t find a straight answer to all this. Help!

I just put a 1GB PNY micro sd card into my cu500. The phone does not recognize that it is there and when I go to "Check Memory" in Settings the phone says "Card Not Ready." What does this mean, how can I fix it?

Does anyone know how to make the call waiting alert louder? My phone does not make any sounds when I have a call waiting.

Called Stinkular today. They still dont have a firmware/software update for the CU500. Mine shows V10a.
