I purchased the Samsung A950 less than 15 days ago. With that said, I went to the Verizon store today and exchanged my phone out for the Motorola V3M. I asked the rep. if I were able to still watch videos on my V3M like I was able to on the A950. He replied yes and I went about my business. I get home and inserted the mini SD card and nothing comes up but my mp3's which have been converted using WMP 😈 . Does this phone play videos to anyone's knowledge?
Thanks in advance

It does play videos, but are you sure you have the proper card? Do you really have a mini SD card, or did you mean to write microSD card, which is what the Razr V3m takes?
Otherwise, I'm not much help...

The card I have is a microSD/TransFlash. I used to just convert the video files to a 3gp file and then put them in the "My Flix" file. I was told by a technician with Verizon that the phone takes a 3g2 file. I converted a video into 3g2 with no success. I am going to be really upset if I can't download these videos since I can't return the phone back. They told me that I need to format the card for the Motorola. How in the world would I do that. I never had to format the card for the samsung. PLEASE HELP!!! 😢

to format, go into settings under memory card and select format. this will erase everything on the card so back it up

I have finally figured it out!!!! 😁
First thing, you do need to convert all videos to 3p2 files. After that is saved to the card, you will go to the screen that should show (mobile, motorola, pics) its under my computer and double click where you see your device icon for the SD card and just put the video file on the same screen. There is no need to open any files to place the video. If anyone has this phone and has any problems downloading videos, please send me an email and I would be more than happy to assist. I feel kinda smart because nobody at Verizon knew how to do this because it is a "brand new" phone. HAHAHAHAH!!!!

What software did you use to convert to 3p2. Will this phone play 3GP? Thanks!
