is it at any way possible to get this phone unlocked and cingular's service? thanks!

there probably is, but I had a friend that got an unlocked sidekick 2 and tried to activate it on cingular's network but they wouldn't do it because the phone was unlocked..
additionally, it's important to note that when you roam with T-Mobile you roam using cingular's network, so it's in both their interests to only activate phones that are locked...

The old Sidekick 2's could be sim unlocked, but these new Sidekick 3's CANNOT be unlocked. There is no reason on Earth you would need to, simply because the Sidekick data service is exclusive to T-Mobile only and forever! I had a friend who got an unlocked SK2 and was able to use it with Cingular, but he was only able to make and receive calls (no data service at all). Enjoy.
