How often does this phone loose service suddenly even if u have three or more bars

Im asking is this phone prone to loose service without notice even if you have signal bars indicating reasonable service.

my phone cant get reception anywhere around where i live but it seems that everywhere else the phone works fine i kind of makes me angry but over i stll love it but i does get tiring trying to contort to find a signal
