that Sidekick 3 will be only 99 dollars for new T-Mobile customers which I believe is not true i mean after all the T-Mobile sidekick 2 is now 199 dollars and is still expensive after 2 years of being release which I highly doubt that Sidekick 3 will have a huge price drop in less then a month and something that is more upgraded then the sidekick 2 and i think all of you know where i am trying to go with this and not to mention why not wait and get the same thing for a cheaper price.

Im asking is this phone prone to loose service without notice even if you have signal bars indicating reasonable service.

I have Cellular One and they run on GSM850/1900...will the SK3 work? 😕 Thank You SO much for this...I am new at all of this.

OK...please be honest. Should I pay all that money for a Sidekick 3 or settle for the Mr Cartoon version of Sidekick 2?

So i had tmobile and left them, but it hasnt been 90 days so if want to reactivate i have to pay full retail for a phone.

I don't know if my answer is somewhere in this forum, but could someone give me short step by step instructions on how to put the music on the phone I have the LG 8100 which uses the Windows Media player, I got as far as finding the music file when you plug the phone into the computer, and I found the CD on my computer in my CD drive, but I don't know how to get my music into the sidekick. If what I want is on the forum or someone knows where I can go to get my answer please direct me.

you probably all know that you can get sk3 themes...
you know... it changes the sound it makes when you open and close it. also it changes the icons for alot of things...
does anyone know how to make that happen?? i went to a site, sk3themes.com, and downloaded a theme i liked. does anyone know how to make that work? im confused, and need help. thx for anyone who knows the answer!

Hello, I am a verizon wireless customer so I am not too familiar with t-mobile. I am interested in a data plan, but I won't give verizon the satisfaction of paying $45 a month for something that T-Mobile offers for $30. My question is this, can the sidekick 3 be connected to a laptop and used as a wireless modem? And also, if the coverage in my area is not too great for t-mobile (which i know for a fact) will that affect the download times noticably? Thanks for anyone that answers...

SO i just have a question. i just got a skiii. i went to camera and on highest resolution it says i can only take 3 pics, is this true?
Also if i gt a bigger memory card will i be able to have more.

I'm confused, if you look at the email demo on www.sidekick.com it clearly shows the sidekick 3 using a hotmail email address as part of the push feature, however I read a review where it stated that it didn't support hotmail or yahoo? I found this strange as it supports both of those programs' IM? I would appreciate if someone can enlighten me and clear that up.
Also, how bad is the battery life?

What's the correct way to turn on the Bluetooth?
Is it by going to the Phone app. and then doing a 'Transfer Sound to: Bluetooth Device'? Or is it by turning on the Bluetooth through the Menu button?

Okay, so I used to have a SK for about two+ years untill my SK2 broke and I didnt want to replace it so I quite. Now I work for Cingular wireless and despite my free employee rate plans, I went back to Tmobile today for the new SK3 because I love them so much. So the store rep said of course, service activation couuuld take up to 24 hours. But normally around 3. Well, in this time, its still waiting, but I sould have a GPRS connection with the G in the lower left hand corner correct? Or the phone? Cause I dont remember! Its been so long. 😳

So I set my SK3 up to 'collect from' my POP account, and it works okay - but there doesn't seem to be any place to configure when/how often the device/service checks my POP account. Anybody know where/if I can configure that?

Okay...I have 5 questions...can you guys respond back to the questions below? You could just answer which ones you know lol

1. Can the sidekick 3 be from a different company, like verizon? Im hoping it could be...so i can add this to my mom's plan thing.

2. If the sk3 is available for pre-paid card stuff...would that count for the IM-ing and the internet? or would it count for the phone part of the sk3? or would it just be both?

3. Can you view myspace on it? And would it play music from a myspace profile? (answer this if you are a myspacer ha ha ha)

4. Can you upload pictures from the sk3 to http://www.photobucket.com , or http://www.imageshack.org ?

5. If anyone knows what youtube is...its a site to view video clips an...
