Erasing text msg and the phone errors out

I got this phone for Christmas and have had three exchanges since! When I erase the text msg, the phone goes to a blue screen and then turns off. Anyone else had this problem?

ive not had that problem but i did have an issue with deleting, it wouldnt let me delete one message and no other messages could come in to my phone. the message kept changing to old ones i had gotten before but it fixed itself whaen i turned it off and back on
