It often efaults from card memory to phone memory. I often have to put pictures, videos, and sounds on card memory many times a day. I asked the VZW people that have Env's what's going on & they were clueless. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Yes, the enV defaults to "save to phone" when you power-cycle. Simply leave your enV on, so you never have to change it. ๐Ÿ‘€

When you say power-cycle, what do you mean? When you shut the phonie down, it automatically defaults back to the "save to phone" When you say leave your enV on, do you mean constantly?

Not completely true. It changes even w/o power cycling it.

I haven't noticed this.
When and How does the enV change the save options back to "save to phone" without selecting the option, or turning the phone off-and-on? ๐Ÿคจ

Yes, shutting the phone off and back on causes the phone to default back to "save to phone"
Yes, I leave my enV on all the time. Turning it off drains the battery. ๐Ÿ‘€

Why would the phone automically default ack to save it to the phone though? And turning it on drains the battery? Don't you mean charing it while leaving it on and using the phone drains the battery? lol. So, you leave your enV on non-stop all the time?

Well, not exactly. What I meant was: Leaving the phone Off actually drains the battery faster than if the phone is left on. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
Try it with your enV. Leave your phone off all night without it plugged in, and see how much battery is left in the morning. ๐Ÿ˜ข
Yes, my enV is on 24-7. Your's isn't? ๐Ÿคจ

It happens automatically!! I even asked Verizon reps that have the EnV, and they're not sure either!

What do you mean you've never noticed this? Do you own the enV with a memory card in it now? whenver you have the save option to save to card and turn the phone off then on, it doesn't default back to the save to phone feature?

Is that directed toward me or Asaneen?

It does default back to "save to phone" when I turn my enV off-and-on (just like everyone else). I think you misread the question. ๐Ÿ‘€

Not sure.
Because it wants to?! ๐Ÿคจ

I love those responses you gave to the questions! I suppose I did miseread the questions but also since I am planning on buying a memory card for my phone soon and I can't wait. I definitely want the memory for songs, pictures and videos. It's almost like a must-have for this type of a phone.

Oh I totally agree. I figure i'd take advantage of all the memory the enV can support which is why I bought 2 gigs. My card should be in the mail now.

It would be nice if VZW's phones could hold more than 2 gig.

Excellent.
Thanks for the response.
Strange though. 3 days ago, I set my "Save Options" to the Card for Pictures, video and sounds, and haven't tuned my phone off since then and it hasn't "changed back" to "save to phone" ๐Ÿ‘€
I'm not doubting your statement that your 9900 "wants to" "randomly" change back to "save to phone". I'm just saying that maybe I have to wait longer than 3 days to see mine do it. ๐Ÿคจ

I am asking Ashanee this questions. Sorry for the confusion but I am looking to buy a 2 gig memory card for my enV soon from Amazon since they've got the cheapest prices.
