Has anyone incurred problems with call quality during calls on their EnV?
...
Sometimes, after leaving the phone dormant for a few hours, the first call I make will be a little staticy/fuzzy. But the remaining calls for the rest of the day are fine.
I have encountered this problem with other Verizon phones (vx8100, vx9800, sch-A530, etc.) so, I am pretty sure it has to do with "The Network"
If you are having doubts about the call quality on your handset, try calling your phone from a land-line to hear how your phone really sounds. If it doesn't sound "perfect" exchange it at a store. 🤤
Good luck

I haven't had a problem with call quality yet. I just hate it when i get the "echo" on the line and wind up hanging up with the person and calling them back but that's about it.
...
Maybe the people i'm calling have crappy phones. Who knows?!
...
Who knows that could be the reason.
...
Yeah. People hate to take responsibility for their own phones, let alone anything else.
...
Oh yeah i know what you mean and then they complain that their phone is crapping out on them especially the Razr. then then go back to tech support and complain about it. I just put my 2 gig micro sd card in to my phone and everone is right, when you set the save option to card memory and turn the phone off, it defaults back to phone memory. That's kind of weird.
...
That bothers the piss out of me! What's the point of giving us an option if we can barely choose it for ourselves?!
...
I understand what you mean. I mean, yeah it's weird. Everytime you turn the phone on, if you want the default to be set to card memory, you always have to go back and switch it. The only other option is once you take the picture, you haev to remember to go back into your picture gallery and switch it to card memory.

No other phone has done that to me. I only got this phone for the music and the camera/video. Had I known that at the time, I would have stayed with my KRZR; but again, VZW is clueless about it.
...
Ok lets get senseible here. Yes, I admit that this is a weird thing that the phone does, but i'm sure there are other reasons why you bought the phone and not stayed with the Krazr. Trust me, as a reliable phone, the Krazr isn't as good. The processor speed is slower thus it takes longer for you to acces each menu on the main menu, I'm sure the battery life isn't as good as the enV, and the qwerty keyboard has to be one of the enV's best features obviously. I wouldn't say Verizon is clueless about the problem, they might not have found a fix for it yet but that's all. Yes, the music is nice on the enV as it was on the V and the camera/video is excellent.
...
I was being sensible. I was sick of the Q, and the 8700 wasn't out at the time.
...
Well, I mean as far as phones go, there are all different types of phones. If you want a phone with a full qwerty keyboard on it, the enV is your best bet for music, and picture resolution as well. That's all i'm saying but to each their own.
...
I agree. I like my collection (env & 700w), but would love to replace my treo 700w w/ a 6700.

There've been times when I leave a voice message on someone's phone or on a business line, and when I replay my message to myself, sometimes it sounds choppy or muffled. I've had my phone for several months now and lately it hasn't been doing it, but that was my biggest complaint when I first bought it.
