LG enV VX-9900
any one else having problems?
i am on my fourth enV and its starting to piss me off. the first one's bottom row of keys on the QWERTY would dim and would flash when i pushed the space button. the second's lens cover wouldnt open. the third one would not turn on. and the one i have now makes a cracking noise when i close it. is anyone else having this much trouble? i am thinking about dropping this phone and going to a different one but i dont know which one. any ideas?

To be perfectly honest with you, I've never experienced this. I mean, my enV i have now is fine. I love it completely. Sorry to hear about your troubles though and with a few different phones. Try asking tech support or mainline customer serivce what they think you should do but trust me, the enV is worth having.

Hmm,... I haven't had any of these problems at all, and I've had the same enV since Nov. 24, 2006, never been replaced or repaired. 👀
For the issues you were having with the lights going out on the keys, are you sure you aren't using too much pressure on the keypad and doing damage that way?
For the lens cover and the cracking sound you are experiencing, did you happen to get sand on/in your phone? My lens cover was stuck for about a week, and the hinges were really gritty after a visit to the beach and my phone taking a dive in the sand.
I agree with Carfanatic, the enV is definitely worth keeping, It's a very durable phone in my opinion, and the features combined with excellent call quality are hard to match with almost any ...

Ashaneen, Thanks for the compplement and agreeing with me. Yeah, for the features the enV packs, it's a great phone and i'd highly suggest anyone to but it who will be messaging a lot and emailing as well. It slimmed down making it lighter and wider. All in all, a very well built phone. Ashaneen, on your enV, does the vibrate work when you get a picture video message incoming? Mines weird... It doesn't work. I mean it doesn't make too much of a difference to me cause i don't recieve too many pictures but it's just funny. lol. THanks for the informantion.

Eh not really because the enV is still an amazing qwerty keyboard phone and like i said, i don't recieve tht many picture messages so i don't really care all that much. it vibes for me for texting which is what I need and the vib is really loud so usually, i can't even have it vib in clas...

nope no problems so far! but it looks like u had some seerious bad luck! o btw if u claim your 1 year warrenty 3 times its verizon's policy to send a phone of equal or less value!
