What is the correct way to upload photos?

Up until now, I have been using bitpim to upload photos from my enV to my computer. But, as of the new firmware upgrade, bitpim no longer works. Yes, I know I can use LGDownload to access the filesystem, but that's a tedious extra step. There must be a simple built in solution for getting your photos from your phone to your computer over the data cable. Is there? It seems funny to me that they let you access your music that way, but not your photos, as far as I can tell.

When i take pictures on my enV, I never use a Data cable or Bitpim. It's really easy. Do you have a memory card and a card reader for your computer? If not you should really tink about investing in one because this is the easiest way to transfer videos, pictures, and music to your phone. If you don't already have a memory card buy one ( go to Amazon.com i bought a 2 gig micro sd for $31 shipped) and then insert the card into your phone first, let it format the card, then insert the card into your computer and you'll see it come up as an external drive. Yeah, I'm aware of that method, I just find it annoying having to fumble around with that card and the reader. And, if the photo you want is in the phone's internal memory, you have to first remember to move it over to the card; otherwise, you have to put the card back in the phone, move the pic, then take it back out again, etc, etc. It seems to me you should just be able to plug in your phone to your computer and see the phone just as you would an external drive.

I know what y ou mean but if you don't turn your phone off very often, just have the save option set to save to card instead of the phones internal memory. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to tell you. Sorry. It doesn't really bother me too much though.
