MP3 files not playing on phone
With some of the MP3 files i just transfered onto my phone through Limewire, they won't play. I've transfered soo many files i know how to do it and it's always worked but with a few of my files i'll transfer them onto the card, put the card into my phone, but they won't play and i know the phone doens't recognize them becuase when i load up VCast music, it doesn't say adding songs to music library. I'm confused. I know I'm doing everything right but it's frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rename the title of the song into a shorter name and transfer it again. The phone doesn't recognize songs that have long titles.

Thanks for the advice. I tried shortening the length of the songs on my memory card, plugged it back into my phone, but unfortunately the songs still won't add to my library and play. I'm very confused, baffled, and getting frustrated. I'm doing everything else right I just don't get it and this is like the first time that it's actually happened to me. It's really weird. I'd appreciate any other help you can give me. Thanks again.

Do you know much about DRM? 👀 👀 Some DRM (Digital Rights Management) -encoded mp3's will not show up on the 9900, the phone simply doesn't "see" them. Perhaps these music files you are having trouble with have DRM encoding. You just have to re-encode them without DRM, strip the DRM from them, or re-code them as .wma's without DRM. 🤨
