I think this would be a good phone for a youngster. I have found that it is very durable (lots of drops and no damage) compared to Samsung phones (damage easily) or Motorola phones (most Moto's have problems after one good drop).
Other than this being a very sturdy phone. The Mp3/Movie/web capabilities are relatively good for a cell-phone. Sure, the web browser is a bit limited, but the other features of the phone more than make up for it. 😁
