I am trying to get ringtones on my env and its seems nothing is working for me. I dont want to pay for them when i already have the songs i want. I hear you can text them as a picture but i do not know how to. If someone could please post how to or a easier way to put ringtones on the env, i would thank you so much!

Sure No problem i'll help ya out. One free website is Mobile17.com. All you have to do is create an account... it's free. then tel lthem who your carrier is, make and model of phone and whether or not your phone can accept picture messages. Once that's done, all you ahve to do is click create real audio tones, select the mp3 file you want to use decide how many seconds of the clip you want to use and re-title the artist and track title and it takes about 45 min to an hour for the website to compress the file and send it to your phone. Once it's sent, you just save the sound fileto your phone and the phone will ask you if you want to set it as a default ringer. I usually say no cause you can always go back into the sound settings and change i...

Nice website. Also, you can do it yourself without a website. Just download one of the many free music editing programs out there. Google search it or go to www.download.com. I use Audigy myself. Basically, you "import" the song into Audigy. Then you find that clip that you want in that song that you want as a ring tone. Cut out all of the other stuff in the song. Export that clip as a MP3, which puts that 14 sec clip you just made on your computer. Now, just email that clip to your cell phone number@vzwpix.com. Voila!! in about 3 minutes you will have that song on your phone. Save the same way Carfanatic just said.

Important note: keep the song under 300KB. You can make the clip 45 secs if you wanted to, but when its compressed...

Oh yeah. Mobile17.com for me works all the time. I currently have about 15 ringtones all custom from my OWN MP3's chopped up into 30 second clips and I didn't pay for a single one. I just got the song from Gone in 60 Seconds Bring Sally Up! Pretty cool eh? YOu can even somehow convert videos and movies over to the 3G2 format, put them onyour memory card and then watch them onyour phone. However, I still haven't learnt how to do that though. Just be sure you buy a big enough sized memory card to hold all the memory.

hey, I also used to use mobile17. but I hated how long I had to wait for the ringtones. I found another site.. phonezoo.com, where you can preview it on the site and even send yourself ringtones other people have uploaded. It a lot faster, usually get it within 5 minutes, and it saves what you send to yourself in your account, so its easier to resend it if you need to!
