Battery Time
Hi everyone,
I was wondering how much time on average your battery lasts for your enVs. I have the standard battery and got the phone about a week and a half ago. My battery lasts only about a day before I need to charge it. I know that bluetooth will take more power, but I NEVER get anywhere near the 450 minutes projected talk time for the phone. I'm just comparing this to my old VX8000 which could last about 2 - 3 days with the same usage. I do use bluetooth on my enV. Will that heavily drain the battery? Or is there a possible defect with my battery?

On average, I get about 1 day and a half of battery time. I erally use the music on my phone because i use the enV as my MP3 player which works out very well and I even bought stereo bluetooth headphones for it which work amazingly well. I do charge my phone ever night only because i don't want to run out of power the next day and haev to charge it in the middle of the day. Yeah, Depending onhow much yuou use bluetooth it could drain the battery more. I can tell you that by constantly keeping bluetooth on, you are putting a slow but steady drain on the battery. Are you using a headset for talking? If so do you have long conversations on your bluetooth? I hope this helps.

There are many factors which cld drain your battery faster...Yes bluetoothe is one of the things....txting uses alot and if you have a animated wallpaper. gaming on your phone,,,,browsing the internet.

Well yes that is also what I meant to say. hahah. There are so many variables in the age old battery equation that it can sometimes be hard to determine. Factor in if you are taking pictures, video clips, watching VCast video clips for long amounts of times, Keeping the camera on for extended periods of time etc.

I'm a txt queen so I get about 1 1/2 days out of it. I don't use bluetooth or my mp3(I have a nano for that). On the days that I send alot of pic txt it last a day.

I still get about a day and a half but I'm a texting king. I text more than i talk usually and i use bluetooth all the time plus the MP3 player as I already said. I don't need an Ipod because my phone suits me fine as an MP3 player. the enV's speakers are great and i listen to my music all the time before I go to sleep.
