Need Help with MP3

I'm not very tech savy so forgive me if this is a stupid issue. I got my enV a couple weeks ago, love it. My iPod got stolen from my car recently, and I figure why spend 300+ when I can get the microSD for much cheaper. I tried loading some files onto the SD and then onto my phone, and it only seems to work with MPEG audio files, and doesn't work with AAC audio files (most of my music). Do I have to convert every file to MPEG? What is the easiest way to solve this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

From whatyou said, the first thing you should do w/ your MicroSD Card is format it w/your enV. once you do that, load it up on your computer and 3 folders should pop up my music, my pictures, my flix. Just load all of your MP3 files into the MY MUSIC folder and load it back into your phone and you should be good to go. A lot of people make the mistake of loading MP3 files directly onto the card w/o formatting it first on your phone. YOur enV has to clean up the carda nd format the folders onto the card first. I hope this helps you out a little.

I'm not sure if this answered his question about AAC to mp3 conversion. ๐Ÿ™„
Solution:
Here is an AAC to MP3 converter, I haven't tried it, but it looks pretty good.
