I have version 2 software on my phone. I have a 4GB card in my phone. It works great. The other day I downloaded the update to the Music Essentials Software. The problem I am having is that when I go to Sync Music, my phone does nothing then shuts down. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a way to correct it?

Actually, my phone reboots. This started all of a sudden.

PLease could some one give me some guidance on this. I really hate to have to take it into a Verizon Store. If they have to reinstall something, I will probably lose some of my downloaded programs.

honestly, i have the enV w/ Verison 2 software and for my music management, i just copy and paste MP3 files from LImewire or a music downloading service to my MIcro SD Card, I've got the 2 gig card. I've got about 190 Files on my phone and they've never let me down. sorry, i've never actually used the music essentials kit though. i'd lioke to be more helpful though. But this other way is a bit easier and once you put new music on my memorythen put it into my phone and access MY MUSIC, my Vcast music automatically categorizes all of my music into title, artist, genre, and album title. Hope This helps you out a bit.

Thanks for the information. I have done that, but with the Musioc Essentials Software, you don't have to worry about the legnth of the file names.

I really hope someone has a solution. I really hate to hate to have to go to the Verizon Store tomorrow.

Oh true I know what you mean. Although whenever i go to my verizon store, i always love quizzing the techs and sales about the info for the phones. haha. Yeah i mean though i do shorten file names, my phone always still recongizes the MP3's and still categorizes them.
