calendar appointment subject
Has anyone noticed that you can't enter too many words in the subject line when typing in a calendar appointment on the en? I mean is there anyway to make it so you can add like 3 lines of text? I mean it's not a big deal but it would be nice to enter more text. Thanks.

I tried looking for a way to hack the calendar, but there isn't anything that can be done to add info to the calendar that is beyond it's capacities. I wish it had more flexibility too, the only thing I can think of is to check out other GIN calendar apps that have more features. Make a post if you find something!

I already tried to look but not sure. I know that for the wireless sync email it also includes a calendar feature but i'm not paying that $20 for it. ahh. If anyone else has any idea please let us know!!

What about if you use MS Outlook to create an event, then use bitpim to retrieve Outlook calendar entries and then push those entries do the enV (using bitpim)?
I'm not sure if that will work though and it is a hassle.

That is how I found out that you cannot add data beyond the parameters of the calendar. What it does is it truncates whatever text you had on the bitpim, and you are left with a shorter message.

Wow that's interesting. I've never used Bitpim before myself. I guess there really isn't any way to change the length of calendar appointments. Ah whatever. We tried at least everyone. Goodjob. hahah

The limit for the calendar subject line is 32 characters. If you want to use multiple lines, I think the limit is around 26 characters (including spaces). 👀
I agree with you that it would be nice to enter more text in the subject line, but I'm pretty sure that can not be changed. 🙄
