This phone looks really cool and Ive been hearing great feedback on it. And I just wanted to know if it had AIM on it. Or any other chat programs like YAHOO, or MSN. Does anyone know?

so how does that work, does it use airtime, and if it does, does that mean on weekends, i could use it all day with no charge?? or does it like count as texts or sometihng??

It counts as texts and apparently even if you are iming a verizon person it does not use IN texting.

This sucks if it's using text... shouldn't it use minutes as a regular get it now app?
if you have vcast, I believe there was a statement that any data/internet activity will be free. I was hoping, by paying for vcast, I get all internet/data including aim free. otherwize 15 bux a month is useless :-(

The reason it uses your reg text rather then your "in" is because it goes through another server a.k.a AIM or MSN or what have you, so its not straight up verizon its gott go through verizon then through aol or whatever 😁

no it doesn't. it uses the same mobile im app as all the other get it now phones except it supports the bigger screen. there are really no other changes. and it is not very good. verizon really needs help with this. it only shows buddies in your mobile buddy list.
