sound and music question

Just bought an En V and love it so far, I have two questions I'm hoping someone can answer. Please keep in mind that I'm not super tech savvy, the only thing I could do with my last cell phone was call people. - thanks

Sound.. I see lots of folks on here and elsewhere talking about how loud the speakers are, but mine don't seem all that loud. I'm not complaining, they sound fine, just wondering if I'm missing something. If I'm driving with the window down I can just barely hear the music out of the phone's speakers. The phone's master volume is all the way up, if that matters.

Music.. So of course I have all my music on my pc in Itunes. (m4a files?) Any advice/tips/tricks for converting it to wma files. I have windows media 10,...

Use Google to search for an easy iTunes (.ogg?) to .mp3 or .wma conversion program. Not sure if Audacity can do it. 👀

Ashaneen, thanks for your response ... i've done a few searches and the results are a bit intimidating. If anyone can tell me what they use and how it works it would be greatly appreciated. i'd rather not send out my credit card to some random site before I hear from others that it's legit and works well.

also curious if/how I can bacup/sync my contacts/notes/calender/pics onto my pc just in case i lose my phone. i am still waiting for my sandisk micro sd chip (damned colorado snowstorms) so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

again... any input is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. - eddie

Hi, figured out how to convert the music but still wondering about the sound. As I mentioned above, I'm not complaining, but my phone doesn't seem as loud as everyone is claiming it to be. Other than the master volume are there any other volume settings I don't know about. Or maybe something to change in the music files before putting them in the phone? Thanks for any help

For the sound settings, other than the master volume, and the earpiece volume, I'm not sure if there are other settings you can change. There is also an audio setting section in the Service ("OK" 0000000) menu.
As far as your music, at what bitrate are thy encoded? 128, 64, 320 VBR? are they mp3's or .wma's?
You may just have the bitrate encoding below 128, so the volume is low. Try encoding your mp3's at higher than a 128 bitrate, this will definitely increase the volume.
Hope this helps. 😁
