Data cord charge phone?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything on a search. Does anyone know if the USB data cord that comes with the Music Essentials kit also charges the 9900?

Yes and no. By itself it doesn't, but it has a little slot in it in which you can plug in your phone charger, so you can charge your phone at the same time that your cable is plugged in to your computer. But, you still need an outlet. It can't can't charge off the usb.

yup the datacable you just showed works as well. Verizon's included one still requires using the standard charger because some people's computer USB busses may not be able to output enough power if too many devices are plugged in. So by plugging it your own power the issue is solved. Either cable will work with the phone. Also im guessing, but i think Verizon's cable will charge the phone faster since it has its own extra power supply.

I purchased the above cable, and it doesnt seem to charge when plugged into my USB port. Shouldn't the charge bars flash when the phone is charging?
