Attn: 9800 owners upgraded to 9900 - how's bluetooch performance?
Hi I'm thinking of upgrading to the 9900 from the 9800 also, but I'd like to know if the 9900 has the same "short-distance" limitation like the 9800 ? From what I understand the 9800's internal bluetooth antenna is short causing it to have poor bluetooth reception compared with other bluetooth phones. Is this the same for the 9900? Any ex-9800 bluetooth users using the same bluetooth headset on the 9900, your comment is greatly appreciate!

It's actually pretty good...I'm able to walk away about 30 feet before i start to fade...I use stereo bluetooth and obviously the quality of the music isnt cd top notch...but the voice quality is pretty good for about 25-30 feet

Just to be sure...you used a 9800 with a bluetooth headset before? the same one? thx. it will help me decide....

I had a "G-lite Ultra" bluetooth earpiece that I barely used with my 9800, because my friends would complain that it sounded bad. I now currently use the same BT earpiece with my 9900 and all of my friends say it sounds as clear as a regular cell-call, no echo, no fading, no fuzzyness. I really think the 9900 BT antenna/chip... whatever. Is very much improved. 😁
