Phone Problems: Need Help Please

I just got my LG enV phone with Verizon Wireless not even a week ago. I don't have any complaints about it except it is making a humming noise when the QWERTY keyboard is exposed. Also, the QWERTY keyboard isn't lighting up when I open it.

Any ideas what I should do???

Check your backlight settings, maybe there's something there that can explain the keyboard lights. Otherwise, I'd say it's a dud so return it.
