I love it! It's easy to use, has a ton of features, it looks different, and it's black! I was so tired of the silver phones. The only downfall is that the speaker-phone isn't that loud nor clear. Oh well you can't win them all! I love it!

The Chocolate phone does have a speaqker phone. You should be able to access your speaker phobe while on a call by pressing the camera button. If you can not do so please stop by your nearest Verizon Wireless and have the technichians put the software on your phone. It is available.

Chocolate Melts...

LG. Life's Good. I will gie you another chance with the next versions of the "Chocolate", even tho the Flip Version doesn't look very appealing IMHO.

"Chocolate" melts. If you spend a few minutes eating a Milky Way withput the plastic you can see chocolate marks everywhere... Same happens with this phones... you spend 5 minutes playing with it and it has smear and fingerprints everywhere... The sensitive touch commands are not that hot... Press too hard... you are way past... Nice concept...but not working very well... Specially annoying is the fact that when you play a song, after a few seconds the backlight goes off... If you want to see again the song will pause or something will happen.

I do have to recognize the incredible power of the Music Speaker the phone has! They are great. You can hear them in a roon full of people without problem.

The price is OK for this phone... $149.00 with a 2-yr contract from Verizon Wireless... But if you are really into music... and you want to invest into a phone that will make your moves have moves, go for a Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone, the w810i is pretty awesome - it can easily eat the Chocolate in one bite. But this candy does not come cheap... It's delicious price is of $499.00... Who did say caviar comes cheap?

Now, if you want a great music phone with a great camera (3.2 MP Cyber-Shot), you should take a look at the elusive but yet incredible Sony Ericsson K790a. Proffesional and Elegant. Keep it classy, world.

Verizon does not cover any Sony phone, so Cingular and T-Mobile are your best bets.

Somewhat Pleasantly Surprised

When I first was looking at this phone, I saw a Wall Street Journal review that was not favorable. I liked the phone for its sex appeal but wasn't sure I'd trust it as a piece of hardware or to make calls and certainly not as a music player. I knew I had 15 days to make a decision, so I decided I'd take the plunge.

At first, I was displeased with the touch pad - I figured I'd be returning the phone quickly. Barring some bugs, however, my review is mainly positive.

Signal: B+
Ease of Use: B
Design: A-
Erogonomics: C
Touch Pad: B
Features: A
Interface and Speed: A-
Build Quality: B+
Software Reliability: B+
Music Player: C
Overall Average: B

A solid phone with some negative points.
