I've had this phone now on the US Cellular network for about 2 months. Almost everything about it has been great! It's rugged, easy to use, comfortable, and has good features.

RECEPTION: Best I've ever used!
DURABILITY: Well built & very tough!
ERGONOMICS: Comfortable to hold, easy to use buttons, awesome screen inside & out, user friendly navigation.
FEATURES: Great for music! Very good camera & video for my uses. Great for texting! Standard useful Bluetooth.
VOLUME: Very good volume with phone at ear! Okay ringer volume & fair to bad speaker phone volume.
BATTERY: The downfall! Most terrible battery life of any phone I've ever used. Lasts 1 day and I am a very light cell user. Battery shows full all the time, even when it is low. Hook up the charger & the true battery capacity is revealed. My US Cellular store offers free battery trades. I haven't tried this yet, but will soon. Hopefully it is just my current battery & not the phone.

SUMMERY: Even with the not so great speaker phone volume and the battery problems, I still recommend this phone. It's a pleasure to use & has all the right features for a non-smartphone. The price is a little high, but that's because Motorola has a big ego. Also, because it's Motorola, watch for software updates & fixes in the future. They do a lot of their testing in the field, so Motorola users have to be patient & on top of possible updates.

I purchased 9 Quanticos through Alltel being we're in a market that has not switched to Verizon yet. I would have rather had the Casio Rock, but couldn't get them.

Pros- great voice quality, strong signal, gps tracking, comfortable form factor, ruggedized, nice camera.

Cons- Battery life So far we've had them a week and the battery life wont last all day. 8 of them are running a timecard application that chews a lot of power, but even the one that isn't wont last 24 hours with light use. (no texting, no internet and probably a handful of 3-5 minute calls)

Pros:
Plain phone with cam, bluetooth and speaker phone...decent battey life. I'm still not overly impressed with the phone, after 5 phones which none of were exposed rough treatment.

Cons:
Took unboxing 5 phones which all had one or more issues. Talk time rated at 5.8 hours....dont bet on that unless you use 3ft from a tower? more like 3hours talk time.

Plenty of quality control issues...loose hinges, mic for speaker phone failed, some of the phones had a software issue when first released with US Cellular.
