I had a blackberry 8220 flip, and then moved to the 9630 tour in favor of the qwerty keyboard. My old blackberry flip was great & I was sad to see it go. I immediately purchased the bb style once it came out, & got it for $30 on crackberry.

pros:
Great call clarity, never a dropped call or ANY static in these past 6 weeks. Excellent in basements too without trying to find a "good spot"
messages (can) show on the outside screen, & will show them when you flip it open. Very convenient.
bb os 6 is nice, you can type on the homescreen and it will open links: aka-- google search, your contacts, apps, etc.
batt life is better than on my tour-- i get 2+ days on this whereas my tour would barely get 1
camera is great and geotagging always works for me-- it never did on my tour
came with 8gb card
wifi & bluetooth

Con:
in the messages folder, you can create an email... but to write an sms you need to select "other--sms." =My only major complaint.
the keyboard, while very tactile like the tour, has flatter keys which took time getting used to.
The optical pad is not as great as my samsung epix. I like my bb tour trackball more, but Im getting used to it.
one softkey on side-- I use for camera, but would like a 2nd button for profiles. top profile is permanently "all alerts off" & not normal. I can no longer flick up to "normal"
flip phone = no silicone case.

for the LOW price, its a very nice flip phone that Im VERY happy with. It is Not a top of the line blackberry (sometimes has lag with optical pad) but it is an excellent phone I will be happy with for years to come

I would recommend this phone to bb enthusiasts who want a flip phone, & to anyone else who desires a flip phone. No touch screen, but you will never have to worry about pocket dialing

A solid bb flip phone that will serve you well. if you like bb, & like flip, this phone IS for you

What I miss from my Tour-- higher raised keys, trackball (although i am adjusting to optical pad), silicone cases
