i just recently got the moto cliq and overall i have to say iam very impressed so far by this phone. the screen is very responsive and i like that fact that i can run multiple apps and it not freeze up on me like the mytouch 3g (which i have to say was the worse phone i have ever had). signal reception is very good with t mobile plus with 3g in my area it really makes the phone come to light. yea its a little bit bulky but and doesnt have the new android 1.6 or 2.0 but its still a good phone with out it and doesnt bother me one bit. overall i would recommend this phone to anyone.
Great Device With Some Minor Flaws

This is a great PDA smart phone for anyone who is heavy into texting, emailing, and surfing the web. Itâs a full featured phone, but at the same time itâs nothing groundbreaking. There is definitely some acclimation when it comes to the Cliq because I am so use to my Blackberry 8900 and think its one of the best built devices with a very wonderful OS.
The device also includes MotoBlur which lets you connect your Facebook, MySpace, and twitter accounts directly to the advice, so whenever your friend writes a new comment it immediately goes to the homepage of the phone. This is a great idea and saves you time from going into the web browser and having to log in each account in order to check for updates. However, this feature is a battery killer. I have mine turns off, besides if you lend your phone to someone else to use (To make a call or use web browser) they will all be up in your business. I could careless about this feature. This is also not an Android device that has Google branding with it. Itâs just a Motorola phone using the Android OS. There is not G1 branding anywhere. However, you can still sync up google email address, but the google email is such a disappointment. Syncronization has to be turned on for the gmail to function will & thatâs a battery draining feature. As oppose to AOL and Yahoo which just come directly to the device. When you send an email it doesnât come over right away, but you can set the phone to check for new emails every 15 mins, 30 mins, or manually, etc. It seems like every Android device is a battery draining device.
Pros:
Android OS
Full HTML Web Browser
Threaded Text message
Email sync
Android Marketplace
Full qwerty keyboard
YouTube
5.0 camera/camcorder
Cons:
Poor battery life (Lower light setting and turn off Motoblur to save power)
Gmail is a disaster
Needs better notification options when next text/emails come through
No PUSH email capability
I EXPECTED MORE!! BUT ITS STILL A NICE PHONE.

I have had this phone 4 about a week and i must say that i expected more from Moto. The phone is great 4 any1 that love social networcks, but using moto blur i didnt get my notifications until 10 to 15 min after. That really is annoying due to the fact u cant cant get in touch wuth ur friends right away, and when ur gonna reply they probably offlina already... im gonna hang on to this phone and c if i get the OTA software upgrade 1.6.
Pro's
5 megapixel
decent size sreen
great apps
loud speaker
nice design
3.5 headphone jack
moto blur
Cons
heavy
battery very poor
no 1.6 android upgrade
touch screen tends to lag
heats up fast
no flash
slide tends to get loose and feels like it going to break.
i hope they come out with some OTA upgrade or else this phone is going to die and get phased out fast!!!!
