I'll get to the cons first:
- Biggest issue was the flimsiness of the case. Right out of the box the battery cover creaked when held. It was more noticeable as time went on.
-The hinge gets sloppy ~ it had 1-2mm play from side to side after 7 days normal use.
-Size - compared to other modern phones this one is still like a 2002 flip phone.
-Motorola Phone Tools v4.0 - $50 bucks for something that really should be included for free. The software is OK except for syncing contacts >> dated software.
-Reception is fair, but quality was lacking. Same carrier, same weather, same location, same SIM, different phone = better quality & no static.
Pros
-Motorola interface is quick to master, lots of menu options for tweaking.
-USB connection a big plus, it charges through the USB port on a mini-USB cable.
-Screen was acceptable.
-Cheap & Basic
-Battery life was average. Quick Recharge time.
Conclusion:
You're getting a basic phone, with a solid interface. No cameras, no bluetooth. I had to return this phone as it was to flimsy for my tastes. I'd suggest spending a few more dollars and invest in something more sturdy - such as the Samsung SGH-D407 (a very excellent phone for $50 more!)
