Ok I received this phone because the LG CU500 was crap. Now I'm on my THIRD V3xx since April! The 1st two had to be replaced because the screen would go blank and the phone would completely power off. So the 2nd one AT&T sent, the external screen is dim, and some texts i send will just go to some random person that I don't even know! So AT&T will be sending me my fourth V3xx tomorrow. One of the reps even suggested I delete all of my address book entries and re-enter them! Pretty crazy.
Pros:
Nice look and feel
OK sound quality
Pretty good 1.3 megapixel camera
Very vibrant internal screen
Cons:
Poor battery life
Scratches easily
Speakerphone could be louder
Great Phone

I loved this phone, I had to move to a smartphone for work, but before then I used this phone for everything!
Pros:
- Easy to use: it is easy and straight forward to use.
- 3G works well: I played with some 3G phones that didn't work as well as this phone did
- Browser: It was one of the few cell phone browsers I messed with that worked alright.
- Trans Flash Slot: supports 2gigs... enough for this phone let me tell you.
- Bluetooth: Is awesome, you can do so much.
-Battery Life: Decent!
Cons:
- Muffled: Some callers would say I sounded muffled so I constantly had to speak louder then I should of had to.
- Weak Bluetooth: I would start to hear static if the phone was in my pocket and the ear piece was on my ear.
- Theme changing: I like my phone to vibrate and play noise, plug the phone in and it switches to "loud" and doesn't vibrate, cool with me, but unplug it... i tmight or might not change back. Kind of annoying for me.
- Outside Screen Small: It is... Kind of sucky for when your driving and wanting to see if you want to talk to someone.
Over all I would highly recommend this phone to people who want a phone (I gave mine to my mom) that works, is small, but still had a decent battery life.

PROS-
* Great color
* Sleek design
* Bit more durable than original
CONS-
* Ringtones are Urban based type themes only
* Key/ Menu set are a rat maze
* No longer has convenient separated calls menu/ keys. You have to push extra keys and filter through extra keys to access.
* Display image seems to have a short when using external keys to use light display
* Camera images are taken with a wide screen (long stretched face)
*doesn't allow for too much personalization of your options set up
Overall very dissastified with this phone options only. So far other than the image display seeming to short out when it tries to come up the phones quality is great
great phone EXCEPT for email

Overall its a good phone. Screen is excellent, phone is responsive, menu is greatly improved and very intuitive. Battery is ok, typical for any 3G phone.
The killer for being a great phone is the email app that at&t saddles it with. Rather than a dedicated email client, the phone is stuck with a java email client from a company called OZ. At its best this app is easy to set up for any of the big email providers, but there is no way to use it with any other provider. At its worse the app is buggy and never works right. I am on my 2nd V3XX because the app refused to keep my user name and password. Annoying but not a killer is that the app will not start up consistently time after time. 95% of the time, you have to make sure that you exit out of java and restart the app.
give it time, it WILL crush your love of it...

Okay, I am on my second V3xx in as many months, physical problems(hinge and speaker) which at&t will NOT cover anymore. With that said let's get to the nuts of it all.
PROS:
- Reception(crushes the Sync)
- Ease of use
- ringtones into the bluetooth headset
CONS:
- Hinge falling apart like the older V3
- Camera seems very grainy for a 1.3 MGP
- Keypad starts slipping
- Loud speaker goes out
- pain to get to the MP3 functions
- Battery less than spectacular
- at&t customer service
ok

pro:
great looking phone
cool features
great music player

CON: when you upload skins.. be careful because it can mess up the phone entirely. the screen may go out and you'll have to replace ur phone!
Greatest flip I've ever owned

The V3XX gave me everything I could possibly want in a flip phone. I really loved watching Cingular TV when killing time, waiting for people. It had great sound and an awesome picture. That has to be the best perk for this phone. The reception was awesome, didn't have any problems.
If I didn't get a Blackberry, I would've definitely stuck with this phone.
Good buy. You won't regret it.

I bought this phone back in March of this year and I haven't looked back since. The features are great, the build is great, and I have had only one problem which is why I deducted half a star. I just had the phone replaced because it was deleting ringtones, pictures, contacts, etc on it's own and AT&T replaced it for me as I was under warranty. Other than that I love this phone as I would never touch a V3 and was waiting for the third gen of the phone to be released.
PROS:
-Beautiful Display
-Great Music Player
-Awesome Call Quality
-The Camera Is AMAZING for 1.3 MP. I go to a Kodak Picture Kiosk and they print out beautifully.
CONS:
-Really Hard To See Screen In Direct Sunlight Or A Bright Day.
-Can Not Change What the Soft Keys Are Set To.
-Only Three Skins. A Nice Green One Would Be Nice.
All in all it is an amazing phone and would recommend it to everyone!!
Excellent phone!

I started off with the Samsung SYNC and while I loved the SYNC, the one thing I needed it to do it did not, and that is make a quality phone call. I would get dropped calls when I was showing 5 bars and have to power the phone off and on again to get it back on track. I took it back after 2 weeks and traded it for the RAZR V3xx. I have to admit I was kind of scared of the RAZR with all the previous bad reviews on earlier models. I went ahead and did it and boy am I glad I did. I had immediately better reception and I have yet to have a dropped call. I thought the RAZR looked flimsy, but it is not. It is metal and very sturdy. It is just a really nice phone for the money. I got it for $28.74 with renewal of a 2-year contract with AT&T (formerly Cingular). You can't beat that! It has everything I need. Great sound for the music player and great customization ability. The only thing I can say negative about it is the voice call command cannot understand the names I am saying, so I don't use that and the external screen is a bit dull and small compared to others, but it plainly shows what you need to see, date, time, function icons, etc. Just overall a wonderful, sleek, fun phone that is totally worth what I paid for it and more. Go out and get one for yourself!!
This phone works!

After an unhappy experience this year with a Blackjack/WM5.0 I was happy that Motorola finally brought out a 3G RAZR. It works very well in weak signal areas, it doesn't drop calls, the screen is easy to see. What more could you ask for? I use the phone all day and the battery performs well, charging it up at night.
