The Active Senior ID pack includes 20 applications and services that Sprint believes can help to improve the smartphone experience for older users. For example, it includes access to WebMD, the AARP, MedsTimer, and a fall detector, among other services. The Active Senior ID pack is available on select handsets, including the LG Viper, Optimus Elite, and Marquee; the Motorola Photon 4G; the Samsung Galaxy Victory, Conquer 4G, Epic 4G, Galaxy S II, and Transform; the Kyocera Rise; and the ZTE Fury. Sprint is pitching the device as an ideal phone for parents to give to children. The Fury runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with Sprint ID on board for custom theme and app packs. Other features include a 3.5-inch display; 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and video capture; a 1GHz Snapdragon processor; 4GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards up to 32GB; and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi, and 3G hotspot. The device includes GPS, which Sprint points out will work with services such as Sprint's Family Locator, Sprint Drive Fast, and others.
