Hitachi Pocket PC for Sprint Unveiled

Microsoft and Hitachi today unveiled the Hitachi Multimedia Communicator Pocket PC, a Pocket PC Phone Edition device with a large TFT touchscreen, integrated QWERTY mini-keyboard, and built-in swivel camera. Additional features include speakerphone, 1xRTT high-speed data, a 400MHz XScale processor, and a replaceable battery. The device will be available exclusively from Sprint PCS by the end of the first half of 2003.
