Samsung Matrix Phone Details Released by FCC
Mar 12, 2003, 7:40 PM by (staff)

The FCC today approved the Samsung SPH-N270, a new CDMA phone designed around a "Matrix" theme, apparently as a marketing tie-in with the Matrix movie coming this summer. Samsung has a teaser web site for the product - www.thematrixphone.com - which briefly shows a phone matching the one shown in the FCC documents released today. The documents show a Sprint PCS logo on the phone. Although the phone appears to have color display, the limited feature set places the phone squarely in the entry-level category. The phone is expected to be announced at next week's CTIA show in New Orleans.
