Opera Mini for Android Updates Its Social Status
Sep 20, 2012, 7:22 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Opera Software today announced a new version of Opera Mini for the Android platform. Opera Mini 7.5 adds one significant new feature to the browser: social network updates via Opera's Smart Page. Smart Page is a single web page that has three tabs, each streaming its own set of information. One tab is dedicated to importing Facebook and Twitter status updates; one tab offers the latest news headlines based on the user's browsing preferences; and the last tab is reserved for browsing and other web-related suggestions from Opera based on where the browser is being used. Opera Mini 7.5 is a free download from the Google Play Store.
