T-Mobile Activates 1900MHz HSPA+ in 3 More Markets
Dec 7, 2012, 8:33 AM by Eric M. Zeman
T-Mobile USA has made its HSPA+ service available in the 1900MHz band in Seattle, Wash.; Minneapolis, Minn.; and Atlanta, Ga. A total of 18 markets now offer HSPA+ in T-Mobile's 1900MHz spectrum, which means many of the devices sold by T-Mobile rival AT&T will be able to access fast data in those areas. T-Mobile is in the process of refarming its 1900MHz spectrum from GSM/EDGE to GSM/HSPA+ so it can use its 1700MHz spectrum for its forthcoming LTE 4G network.

1900 3G UMTS is LIVE in Chicagoland as well...
T-Mobile also still scans in on 2G GSM.
I know in some markets T-Mobile has limited spectrum.
Are they going to have enough 1900 spectrum to run both 2G GSM and 3G UMTS reliably?
