AT&T to Sell Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini On March 20

AT&T today said customers can scoop up the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini beginning March 20. The phone costs $429 at full retail, but is available for $14.30, $17.88, or $21.48 per month via AT&T's Next 24, Next 18, or Next 12 plans, respectively.

Did Samsung NOT say they were going to stop doing this?
I was under the belief that Samsung acknowledged their mistake of pumping out low/mid ranged junk that NO ONE wanted - and they were instead going to focus on the flagship models, and perhaps a lower end one that was more affordable. Everything else in the middle though is not only junk, but a waste of time and money.
I can promise Samsung that this will be a waste of their time on every level - because at the end of the day, It's the same 5 or so phones that sell, and the rest collect dust.
Oh, and the G3 sells for around the same price, and puts this phone to shame. So again - Samsung, what is the point? Apparently you didn't learn your lesson from the disappointing last qu...
